Swimming & Diving: Oak Ridge sends six relay teams to regionals

Oak Ridge’s Anton Hoherz broke a school record in winning the District 16-6A diving title at the league’s swimming and diving championships on Saturday at the Conroe ISD Natatorium.

Hoherz had a point total of 552.55 points to finish first. Teammate Casey Ponton was second with a total of 501.55 points, and Oak Ridge’s Daphne Scheck was fourth in the girls competition with a point total of 455.55.

All three competitors advance to the Region II-6A championships to be held at the Conroe ISD Natatorium on Feb. 6 and 7. The Lady War Eagles’ Emily Henson qualified in two events as well as the 200 medley relay. click here for complete story
