Woodlands drug raid was part of burglary investigation, more arrests expected

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies are seeking arrest warrants on multiple individuals connected with an ongoing burglary investigation which led to a raid in The Woodlands on Monday morning.

MCSO Lt. Brady Fitzgerald said Monday’s raid was a part of an ongoing investigation into burglary suspects when officers found drugs inside a home located at 34 Bonneymead Circle in the Village of Cochran’s Crossing.

“We were seeking items that had been stolen on previous burglaries,” Fitzgerald said. “Some of those items were located at the residence as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia. We’ve been to that location several times in the past, and the drugs that were located were located as a result of us making entry as a result of the warrant.

“I wouldn’t say we were surprised drugs were located at the residence.”

Four people were arrested in Monday’s raid: Nicholas Conner Mahon, 19, charged with possession of marijuana; Francisca Moncure, 20, arrested on a warrant; Mary Sheehan, 18, charged with possession of a controlled substance; and Ryan Richter, 18, charged with possession of stolen property. click here for complete story
