Football: The Highlanders keep undefeated district record after 49-14 victory over Summer Creek

The Woodlands Highlanders came into Thursday’s game undefeated in district and ready to keep it that way with a win over Summer Creek. Despite a few first half struggles and an injury to starting quarterback Eric Schmid, the Highlanders secured another win 49-14 over the Bulldogs.

The Summer Creek Bulldogs, 1-3 in district headed into the game, came out strong and ready to face the Highlanders. The TWHS defense has touted four shutout games so far this season, but they were unable to keep Summer Creek from scoring. click here for complete story
