Boys Basketball: Highlanders putting losses to good use

After struggling last season, The Woodlands has higher hopes this time around

The Highlanders were historically young last season.

Veteran coach Dale Reed gave the keys to his offense to a freshman point guard, Romello Wilbert, for the first time in his long tenure, and two sophomores, including A.J. Bullard, played key roles. They still kept their long streak of playoff trips alive, finishing fourth in District 16-6A.

The Highlanders finished 6-6 in district, behind the three Humble ISD teams, then fell 67-48 to Klein Forest in the bi-district playoffs. click HERE for complete story
