College Park’s Kennedi Smith was named the All-District 16-6A Most Valuable Player.

College Park senior Kennedi Smith was recently named Most Valuable Player to lead the honorees of District 16-6A volleyball this season.

Smith, who signed last month to play at the University of New Hampshire, helped the Lady Cavaliers to 26-11 season that ended in the Region II area round.

Smith is joined by Lady Cavaliers teammate Hannah Erwin, who was named Setter of the Year. Also receiving honors were Oak Ridge’s Raigan Cianciulli, who is Defensive Player of the Year and The Woodlands’ Mia Primavera, a setter, who was named Newcomer of the Year.
