The Woodlands, a 43-41 overtime winner over Summer Creek on Friday night, shot just 29 percent from the field and dropped to 9-8 overall and 1-1 in District 16-6A play.

“We just came in flat,” TWHS coach Dana Bruton said. “It’s really disappointing, because we never got in any sort of rhythm. They made two more 3-pointers than we did, and a couple more free throws, but we did a good job on the boards.”

The Woodlands forward Payton Walker led her team with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Teammate Meghan Musso finished with five points. click here for complete story
