After moving back and forth down the floor, Kene Hamilton put the first points on the board for Dekaney, followed by a three-pointer off of Makeedah Collins. Not wanting to let the Wildcats get the best of them, junior guard Julia Glandt scored three points for the Lady Highlanders and was followed by a layup by De La Rosa.
