Literacy: Woodlands College Park High School hosts Montgomery County Teen Book Festival

The Montgomery County Teen Book Festival will offer several hours of entertainment and insight from various authors, including E. Lockhart, on Saturday at The Woodlands College Park High School. Keynote speaker Lockhart is wrote “We Were Liars” and “The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks” — a Printz Award honor book, National Book Award finalist and Cybils Award recipient.

Other authors in attendance include Veronica Rossi, Susan Dennard, Kathleen Baldwin and Daniel Kraus. Baldwin, author of “A School for Unusual Girls”, said she had thought she would grow up to become a heart surgeon, though her mother and teachers were convinced she would become a writer. click here for complete story
