Conroe Symphony Orchestra presents ‘Family Night at the Symphony’

Fiona Shea, 17, a violinist from Lubbock will perform “Violin Concerto in E Minor” by Felix Mendelssohn, accompanied by the full orchestra.

The Conroe Symphony Orchestra is gearing up for its fourth concert of the season, “Family Night at the Symphony” at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday at Conroe High School located at 3200 W. Davis Street (Texas 105), in Conroe.

The symphony, currently in the middle of its 19th season, will be under the direction of Music Director and Conductor Dr. Don Hutson.

The highly anticipated family concert will feature music for all ages, including: “Wizard of Oz” by Harold Allen, “Sabre Dance” from Gayaneh Ballet, “Tubby the Tuba” by George Kleinsinger, and highlights from “Jurassic Park.” click here for complete story
