Opening April 11, The Woodlands Area Restaurant Will Incorporate Cutting Edge Ordering Technology Expediting Visits for Guests on the Go
Fuddruckers, an iconic, Texas-born hospitality brand, is debuting its first new Houston-area location in almost two years. Opening on April 11, the approximately 4,000-square-foot restaurant is situated at 8510 Creekside Forest Drive on the corner of Kuykendall Road in The Woodlands.
The site will introduce the option of self-ordering with four, state-of-the-art touch screen kiosks.
According to Peter Tropoli, Chief Operating Officer, “We have been part of The Woodlands community for over thirty years with our location at 2290 Buckthorn Place and we are pleased to introduce a second location at Creekside. While patrons will find a number of familiar elements, we’re also looking forward to unveiling some special site-specific surprises.”
The home for the “World’s Greatest Hamburgers” will join an array of specialty tenants, ranging from CHI St. Luke’s Health to the Coffeeshop Company, at Crossroads Square at Creekside Park, a recently completed, four-acre lifestyle center. Fuddruckers guests will enjoy development amenities including a pedestrian-friendly piazza, central valet service and covered walkways.
A showcase for Fuddruckers’ eclectic décor, referencing the brand’s classic, Americana tradition, the interior offers seating for 147, including a private dining room where teams and families can celebrate with a capacity of 36, and nine bar counter seats overlooking the open kitchen. Five televisions will ensure patrons are always in sight of any big game, while toasting their team with an assortment of beers. A spacious patio opening to the piazza will accommodate an additional 28 diners.
Since 1980, Fuddruckers has been obsessed with making the world happier, one great hamburger at a time. Grilled-to-order burgers feature always fresh and never frozen, 100% USDA premium-cut beef with no fillers or additives. Delicious, sesame-topped buns are baked from scratch on-site throughout the day to achieve the perfect combination of crisp crust and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
And while burgers are the signature, the engaging menu offers variety for many tastes with an array of hand breaded chicken tenders and onion rings, sandwiches, platters and salads. No matter what they choose, customers can customize their meal with a trip to the legendary Build Your Own produce bar, which features fantastic fixings like sun-ripened tomatoes, lettuce, sliced onions, dill pickles, pico de gallo and classic cheese sauce.
After 10 years at its location on FM 1488, the Dosey Doe Music Café, a popular eatery and music venue, has shuttered and will reopen as a breakfast and barbecue joint on Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands.
The music café was one of three Dosey Doe locations in The Woodlands area, including a small coffee shop in Alden Bridge and the Big Barn off of Interstate 45 near the Sawdust Road exit. Owner Steve Said originally opened the FM 1488 location just as a café, but the need arose for a smaller music venue than the Big Barn to host a mix of local and well-known artists. Read more…

Imagine a collision of two of your favorite foods in one amazing meal. Well that’s the experience I just had at Fielding’s Wood Grill. You see, I’m a huge fan of brisket and burgers, so when I heard Fielding’s Wood Grill had a Pulled Brisket Burger on the menu, I had to check it out.
And, if the name alone isn’t enough, let’s talk about what this taste-bud frenzy brings to the table: we’re talking about juicy pulled brisket with Chipotle adobe, sour cream kale, cheddar, onions, and pickled jalapeños all served on a milk bun made from their in-house bakery.
