College Park High School held a small signing day ceremony early Wednesday morning to honor a group of student athletes as they formally announced their college commitments. The group of athletes gathered in the school’s main gym in front of their families and few College Park Students. Most had already signed their National Letter of Intent, but the ceremony provided families, friends, and coaches the opportunity to celebrate each athlete’s success. click here for complete story
Every year, it seems that National Signing Day gets bigger and bigger. With 29 signees, The Woodlands’ ceremony is as big as it gets in Montgomery County. From Football to fencing, The Woodlands had student-athletes from 12 sports put pen to paper Wednesday afternoon in the school’s main gymnasium and make their college commitments official. click here for complete story
The Woodlands simply dominated every event, race and meet it was a part of in 2015.
And leading the charge was Daniel Golden, who lost only one race during the regular season and ended the year winning both the Region II and Class 6A individual titles.
