Oak Ridge held its third and largest signing day ceremony of the year on Wednesday in a gym overflowing with War Eagles. Oak Ridge had 36 athletes sign a National Letter of Intent in this academic year, including 19 on Wednesday.
Among Wednesday’s signees were eight track athletes, including five Lady War Eagles: Maria Puente (Allen Community College, Kansas), Kimberly Rodriguez (ACCK), Jordan Buchanan (Texas Wesleyan University), Lauren McCants (TWU) and Kaelah Brewer (ACCK). click here for complete storyclick here for complete story

College Park High School held a small signing day ceremony early Wednesday morning to honor a group of student athletes as they formally announced their college commitments. The group of athletes gathered in the school’s main gym in front of their families and few College Park Students. Most had already signed their National Letter of Intent, but the ceremony provided families, friends, and coaches the opportunity to celebrate each athlete’s success. click here for complete story

The Woodlands senior defensive back Antoine Winfield Jr. decided where he will play collegiately Sunday evening with his verbal commitment.
Announced on his Twitter account, Winfield Jr. is set to become a Minnesota Golden Gopher.
“Blessed to announce my commitment to the University of Minnesota can’t wait to play in maroon and gold. #Ski-U-Mah”, Winfield Jr. stated in the post.
