In a matchup between the final two teams with flawless records in District 12-6A, something has to give tonight when Oak Ridge and The Woodlands square off at Woodforest Bank Stadium. Football | Kesean Carter’s 5-touchdown performance leads The Woodlands past George Ranch

When Woodforest Bank Stadium opened its gates in 2008, it was the crown jewel of a Conroe ISD sports complex that came with a $40 million price tag. And since that time, The Woodlands High School football program has certainly gotten its money’s worth.

The Highlanders captured their 30th consecutive victory at their home venue on Friday evening, defeating George Ranch 52-12 in non-district action behind 313 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns from Texas Tech commit Kesean Carter. Read more…

Former Lady Highlander soccer player Olivia Kintigh is now working as a broadcast meteorologist for Wilkens Weather Technologies.

Olivia Kintigh was determined to be a meteorologist.

Graduating from The Woodlands High School in 2009, the former All-Montgomery County Girls Soccer Player of the Year was bound of the University of Oklahoma with weather on her mind. Read more…
