As the 2015 high school football season heads into the homestretch, the cream is rising to the top of the District 16-6A standings. Three teams stand above the rest, two remain undefeated. Following Friday’s 49-17 pounding of Conroe, the Kingwood High School football team is one of those teams looking down at the rest.
Sewo Olonilua ran for 226 yards and three touchdowns as the Mustangs (5-2, 3-0) rolled to their fifth consecutive victory, firmly established them as a power in the district. Olonilua, a verbal commit to TCU, surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season with his outstanding effort on Friday. After seven games, the senior running back now has 1,033 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns on 94 carries. That’s an average of 11 yards per carry. click here for complete story
