Get your prep-on at this newcomer to Market Street that traffics in the clothing that shouts the Northeast country club set, private boarding schools privilege and regatta/polo lifestyle. Founded in 1998 on Martha’s Vineyard by brothers who invested in whale-print ties, Vineyard Vines quickly became the place for beach shorts and polo shirts, canvas and grosgrain belts, gingham and Bengal stripe shirts, blue blazers and tweed coats, and the preppiest neckwear. Chip and Muffie can’t live without their various Vines accessories. And now even Houstonians can look like they’re going to the yacht club thanks to this new store. 9595 Six Pines, Suite 810, 832-592-7093
