WRESTLING | Robinson, Frometa earn bronze medals at state

They didn’t come for third place, but two Montgomery County wrestlers came away from the UIL Wrestling State Tournament with bronze medals. Girls Basketball: Magnolia hosts The Woodlands, Montgomery at inaugural tournament


With District 20-5A action already underway, the Magnolia Lady Bulldogs are getting a break from the grind of their 14-game league slate. But that doesn’t mean they won’t be on the court. Magnolia (9-6, 3-0) is playing host to its inaugural Hoops Fest tournament starting Wednesday, and two other local teams – The Woodlands and Montgomery – will also be competing. Read more…

Grant Milton transferred to Woodlands medical facility

nnnbAfter spending the last 17 days in a Waco hospital recovering from brain surgery, Highlanders football player Grant Milton was transferred to a medical facility in The Woodlands on Tuesday.

Milton, a The Woodlands High School senior, had emergency brain surgery shortly after the Highlanders state playoff game against Austin Bowie on Nov. 26 at McLane Stadium on the campus of Baylor University. click here for complete story
