The Woodlands HS Theatre Dept presents, The Addams Family a Musical Comedy

The world of the living, dead and undecided collide on stage at the The Woodlands High School as the Addams Family takes over with a new musical. Performances will be Jan. 12-14 at 7pm with a 2pm matinee on the 14th.

Lone Star College – Montgomery Holds Holiday Concert Dec. 9

The Music Department at Lone Star College-Montgomery is teaming up with Interfaith of The Woodlands to create another holiday event for the whole family on Friday, December 9 at 7:30pm in the Performing Arts Center, Mainstage Theatre (building D).

The concert will include performances by all of the college’s musical groups including the Jazz Combo, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, String Ensemble, and Symphonic Band and includes specials guests from the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra and the Woodlands Area Youth Symphony under the artistic director Darryl Bayer.

Under the direction of LSC-Montgomery music professors Dr. Eiki Isomura, Cristina Mendoza, and Dr. Mark Marotto, the concert will feature an array of traditional carols and familiar holiday favorites, with 100% of ticket proceeds donated to Interfaith of The Woodlands, a faith-based organization that brings people together to build a more loving and caring community through service.

“This concert has always been about bringing the community together, and this year I’m especially proud to see our students playing and singing next to members of the newly formed Woodlands Area Youth Symphony” Mark Marotto, DMA, Chair, Music Department, Lone Star College-Montgomery. “It’s the beginning of a wonderful partnership.”

Tickets for the holiday concert cost $10 for general admission; $7 for seniors 55+; and $5 for LSC-Montgomery faculty, staff, and students.  Additional donations will be accepted on the date of the concert as well.
